a British BASI CTTC Instructor with a difference!

I offer Mat Pilates, Machine Pilates, BootyBarre classes, workshops, retreats & private tuition at my boutique studio in Puerto Banus, & in various scenic settings along the Spanish coast-line.

I’m a bit of a nerd so I’m continually taking new courses eager to learn! Yes I’m a teacher to many but I’ll forever be a student. I have partaken many trainings & have had experience with various injuries, pathologies, disc herniations & postural issues including SCOLIOSIS. Saying that, I also train many people who simply just want a good old workout who then become addicted to “the burn” & those post class feels!

I found Pilates by pure chance when living in Australia, & instantly became hooked. never before had I found anything which totally transformed my body, mind & mental well-being like Pilates.

It may sound cliche, but for me Pilates has changed my life mentally giving me a purpose to which I’m now honoured to share with the world. Physically I was a long-distance runner for years & before beginning my career I never trained in a structured way contributing to muscular imbalances, pain & postural issues.

BALANCED MIND IN A BALANCED BODY.

Despite being athletic & fit, I was unaware how disconnected I was to my body. This has been the biggest change for me; I am now 100% in tune with my body so I will be forever grateful to Pilates for aiding me with this gift.

Besides connection, persisting with the practice continuously changes my body aesthetically & functionally building a pain-free, lean, toned & strong body.

Some people may presume that as Pilates falls into the low-intensity category that you don't have to work hard, but that’s simply not the case. Pilates is low intensity in the sense that it’s a training style which doesn’t put strain on the nervous system helping to keep hormones balanced, but the exercises are in-fact intense.

As an instructor I guide my clients how to respect their bodies boundaries listening to its signals, but I also give them the confidence to know when to dig deeper!

Stability is the foundation of everything in fitness, no muscle should go untouched. So if you simply want to sweep away the clutter from your busy brain, gain a deeper connection with yourself, build muscle, improve flexibility or improve posture, together we can reach those personal goal.
